The update for the navigation system contains more than one million newly recorded road kilometres and thousands of new residential and industrial areas, intersections, motorway exits, petrol stations, hotels and other useful points of interest (POI). The extensive, up-to-date map material enables a smooth navigation and ensures optimal use of the traffic jam warning function as well as the full functionality of the navigation system.

Connect the USB-Stick with the system.
The screen changes automatically to the Navi-actualization modus.
Select the option actualization with the iDrive-Controller.
The activating begins, precondicioned you occupy a valid FSC-Subscription.
This action runs in the background.
The base functions of your navigatingsystem stay alive.
The USB stick has to be connected until the end of the activating process.
The complete actualization may take time from 15-90 minutes.
After a successful installation of the card-update the system starts automatically new.
After the actualization has been ended, remove the USB-stick.
The USB-Stick is suitable as a data medium afterwards.
