Important: A number of installation instructions may be displayed. Identify the correct instructions with reference to the part numbers and the trailer tow hitch version. In some engine versions it may be necessary to exchange the heat insulation. An exchange of the "L?fterzarge mit L?fter" and "K?hlmittelk?hler / ausgelagerten K?hlmittelk?hler" may be necessary. If on the picture panel in the main group 17 there is a "L?fterzarge mit L?fter" and "K?hlmittelk?hler / ausgelagerten K?hlmittelk?hler" designated to the OE trailer tow hitch, then this part number has to be ordered and installed as well. If changing the fan, consult the picture panel in EPC for the corresponding module and power distribution box. The "B+ power distribution box" is already contained in the "Repair cable set electric fan" and does not have to be ordered separately. Important: For replacement of the "repair cable set for electric fan", the work time increases by 1.0 hour. Important: To be able to use an anti-sway system on the trailer there must be a clearance of at least 75mm between the ball head and the rear trim panel Important: The installation instructions are not included in the retrofit kit. The latest installation instructions must be printed from the Electronic Parts Catalogue and given to the customer. Caution: Exchanging the BDC must always be factored in as an option.
