Is it possible to order products in the BMW Shop without a MyBMW account?

You can also order products online though a guest account.

Where can I go for questions?

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via the contact form. To do this, click on the button "Contact" in the lower area and enter your message and your contact data in the form. Your request will be processed as soon as possible after submitting the form.

If you have already selected a BMW retailer, your enquiry will be sent directly to your BMW retailer. Without the selection of a BMW retailer, your enquiry will be processed as usual by BMW customer service.

Which browser is the best to visit the BMW Shop with?

With all popular browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox or Safari, it is best to use the latest version.

If you access the BMW Shop via the Safari browser in "private mode", you may experience issues with the model selection tool. In "normal mode" the model selection tool works perfectly.

Is it possible to visit the BMW Shop using my tablet/smartphone?

Yes, it is possible to view the BMW Shop on a mobile device. If you enter the shop directly through a mobile device you will be directed to the mobile version of the shop automatically.

This version of the shop, however, does not include the sale of ‘Parts’. If you wish to purchase ‘Parts’ from the shop, please follow the link at the bottom of the screen to the desktop version.

How do I find a BMW retailer?

You can find a BMW retailer through the retailer search. There you can search for the postcode or location of the BMW Retailer. Your selected BMW retailer will be added to your profile as a cookie. On the next visit, you will be taken directly to the page of your selected BMW retailer.

Is my MyBMW account also valid in the MINI Shop and vice versa?

Your BMW Shop customer account (e-mail address and password) is also valid for the MINI Shop and vice versa.

How do I set up a MyBMW customer account?

Just click on “Register” and enter the required information. You also have the option, if you are a guest, to create a customer account after the order process by entering a password after the purchase order.

Which data is required for registration?

To register, enter a valid e-mail address and choose a secure password. The following information is then required: your first and last name, a valid telephone number, postal code and city, as well as street and house name or number.

What rules do I have to follow when creating a password?

The password must be at least eight characters long and contain characters from two of these three groups:

- letters (abc = ABC)
- digits
- special characters (,.+-()@:;*')

Do I have to confirm my account immediately?

After your registration you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. From this point, you have five days to confirm the link. You can still use your customer account until you confirm the link.

I didn´t receive an activation code after my registration. What can I do?

There may be delays in sending the e-mail with your activation link in exceptional cases. If you do not receive the e-mail with your link within 24 hours, please register again.

How can I log in and log out?

Just click on the "Login" button. To log out, please click on your name. A menu will appear with a "Logout" button.

What do I do, if I forget my password?

You can request your password at any time using the “Login > Forgotten password” option. Simply enter the e-mail address with which you registered. You will then receive a link by e-mail with where you can define a new password.

How do I change my password?

Click your name in your customer account. A menu and the button "Access and profile" will be displayed. Here you can change your password independently. The password can only be changed by you personally.

How do I change my personal information and address?

Click your name in your customer account. A menu and the button "Access and profile" will be displayed. Here you can edit your details.

How do I change my billing and shipping address?

Click your name in your customer account. A menu and the "My address book" buttons will appear. Here you can change your address by selecting the "Change" button and entering your new details. To complete the process, click Save.

How do I delete my customer account?

Click your name in your customer account. A menu appears and the button "Access and profile > Delete account". Here you will find a link to the contact form, where you can request the deletion of your customer account from the BMW Group.

What is a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)?

A VIN is the vehicle identification number or chassis number of your vehicle. Please only enter the last 7 digits.

Where do I find my Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)?

To find your VIN number, please look into your Vehicle's V5c Registration Document (see the example). Alternatively, you can find your VIN number on the bottom right-hand-side of your front windscreen. Please only enter the last 7 digits.

What benefits do I get for selecting a vehicle in the online-shop or for entering the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)?

By entering the VIN, you can quickly find and order parts and accessories specifically for your vehicle.

Is it possible to select my vehicle without a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)?

This is possible via the model selector tool. However, you can order some vehicle-specific products only with the entry of a VIN as the exact vehicle model is required for these products.

How do I change my stored car model?

Select the menu item "My vehicle>" Change vehicle "at the top of the website or use the" Vehicle change "vehicle identification tile on the home page.

How do I remove my stored car model?

Select the menu item "My vehicle>Delete vehicle" in the upper part of the website or use the "Vehicle deletion" vehicle identification tile on the home page.

Why are some products not offered online (batteries, etc.)?

Your BMW Shop currently offers a wide selection of parts, accessories and lifestyle. However, our offer is still not fully online. We continue to work on the expansion of our online product range. If you miss a specific item, your BMW retailer will be pleased to help you.

Why is the quantity the amount of 99 pieces displayed automatically for some product parts? Is this amount actually needed?

The quantity needed of these parts depends on the type of installation and / or repair. For detailed information on the use of the parts, please contact your BMW Retailer, if necessary.

Is it possible to make an order without selecting a vehicle?

You can order all products from the category Lifestyle or vehicle-specific accessories without the reference VIN.

How do I make a purchase on the BMW shop?

Start your online order

You have chosen a BMW product. Now, choose a BMW Retailer whom you would like to place your order with. Then you can add the desired articles to the shopping cart. The online order process is started by pressing the "Apply and proceed to cart" button. By clicking on the "Proceed to Checkout" button, you will see an overview of your selected products. To complete the ordering process.

Step 1: Customer Status (BMW Customer Account)

If you have already created a customer account for the BMW Shop, simply login with your e-mail address and password. If you do not already have an account, you can creating one by pressing register as new customer. Alternatively you have the option to order as a guest, but in this case you have to re-enter your data with every order. As a registered customer, you can always edit your delivery and / or invoice address and add further delivery and / or invoice addresses.

Step 2: Enter address details

Your address details must be entered once when you create your customer account.

If you have opted for a guest account, you must enter it at each order. The following information is required:

- E-mail-address,
- Title,
- First name, Last name,
- Telephone,
- Postal code, Town,
- Street, House number.

By choosing a delivery option, you can decide whether the invoice address and the delivery address should be the same or different.

Step 3: Enter payment details

In this step, you enter your payment data completely. You can choose between the following methods of payment: PayPal (with PayPal account via PayPal or without PayPal account by credit card or debit card).

Step 4: Order overview

Once all your details have been entered, an overview page displays your complete order including all address data. Here you have the possibility to make any changes. Now confirm all details by clicking on the button "Confirm payment" to confirm your order. To cancel the order process, close the browser window.

Step 5: Ordering Information

After the order has been completed, the order number of your order is displayed. You will then be sent the invoice and the terms and conditions to the e-mail address you have specified. Your order will be processed by your selected BMW Retailer.

How do I find out whether my order has been received?

As soon as your order has been received, you will receive a written confirmation of your order within a few minutes to the e-mail address that you specified.

Is it possible to deliver my order to a different address?

You can choose your invoice address as well as your delivery address.

How do I find out whether my order is available for pickup?

As soon as your order is ready to be picked up at your BMW Retailer, you will receive an e-mail to the address you specified.

Will I receive an invoice for my order?

Yes, you are sent an invoice to your specified email address. If you do not receive this information, please contact your BMW Retailer.

Is it possible to cancel my order afterwards?

Your order can not be cancelled until it has been processed by your BMW retailer. Please contact your BMW Retailer for any cancellation questions.

What are my order cancellation rights?

However, the terms and conditions may vary from BMW Retailer to BMW Retailer. You can find out which of the following applies to your BMW retailer: Select the appropriate BMW Retailer. Go to "Information> Terms and Conditions". There you will find all the necessary information.

What is the cost to return an order?

Is there a warranty on the products from the BMW shop?

To find out which warranty applies to your order, please: Select the appropriate BMW Retailer. Go to "Information >Terms and Conditions". There you will find all the necessary information.

A product is not available at the BMW shop. Will I get a notification, when the product is available again?

If a product is not available, you can request the product from your BMW retailer by clicking the "Notify" button. This will send you a message as soon as the product is available again at BMW.

Why may the price change of a product after selecting a BMW retailer?

The prices shown here are the manufacturer's recommended retail price, please select your BMW retailer for an individual offer.

How is my personal data protected?

All data you store in our BMW Shop are securely encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Payments are processed through individual BMW retailers through their official payment provider.

What payment options do I have in the BMW shop?

Several payment methods are available in the BMW Shop. You can pay conveniently by PayPal via your PayPal account or with credit card or direct debit.

How long does delivery take?

The exact delivery date and the shipping status of your shipment can be found in your confirmation e-mail.

To which countries are products delivered?

We ship to all addresses within the UK excluding Northern Ireland, Jersey, The Isle of Man, Gibraltar, and British Sovereign Bases Cyprus. Shipping to other countries varies between the BMW retailers. Please contact your BMW retailer of your choice.

What shipping options are available?

A. In the course of the ordering process, you can choose whether you would like to have the goods delivered to your address or whether you would like to collect the order from your selected BMW retailer.

Why is it not possible to ship some products, but only to pick them up at the BMW retailer locally?

Some products from our BMW shop, such as dangerous goods (batteries, liquids, etc.), are subject to legal regulations, which do not allow shipment. These products must then be collected from the BMW Retailer on site. For further information, please contact your BMW retailer.

Am I able to track my order from the BMW Shop?
